Efficient inbound and outbound operations
Solution

1. To address the diverse sizes of materials, a mother-and-child pallet storage unit design was adopted to standardize material dimensions.

2. Considering the high factory height, the long and narrow shape of the automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) area, and the dimensions of the goods, seven T1000 stacker cranes were selected as the automated AS/RS equipment for this project. The project has high requirements for inbound and outbound efficiency, with the efficiency bottleneck located in the front conveyor area. A circular conveyor line was designed for this area to meet these efficiency requirements.

3. The stacker cranes retrieve the required materials from the AS/RS racks and transport them to the circular conveyor line connection point. The conveyor line then transports the materials to the corresponding outbound exit. After workers remove the child pallets and their contents, the mother pallet is returned to the pallet stacker via the conveyor line, completing the outbound process.

4. The depalletizer separates empty mother pallets into individual mother pallets, which are then transported to the inbound exit via the conveyor line. Workers assemble and store the assembled materials at the inbound exit. The conveyor line then transports the assembled materials to the stacker crane connection point, where the stacker crane delivers them to the designated storage location.
