Solution Benefits

For the storage of hazardous media such as methanol and acetic acid in the tank area of this project, an explosion-proof inspection robot certified by Ex d IIC T6 Gb was selected for inspection operations. This robot integrates multiple functions including meter reading recognition, valve status verification, leak detection at 5 different points, level gauge recognition, methanol/acetic acid gas leak monitoring, noise detection, and wall crack detection. It can cover 50 inspection points within the tank area; it has a 30° climbing ability and is adaptable to complex terrains such as galvanized grating and patterned steel floors. The project is equipped with explosion-proof charging piles, charging boxes, and AP boxes, forming a "human-machine collaborative, full-area linkage" inspection system with fixed cameras on the tank tops and gas sensors. This effectively replaces manual entry into high-risk areas, comprehensively improving the efficiency of tank area inspections and the accuracy of safety hazard identification.
