To address the three different sizes of materials being handled on-site, a universal AGV fixture was designed to achieve compatible handling and enhance system flexibility. An empty-full exchange logic is used for loading and unloading, minimizing the number of AGVs required. The tracked RGVs are battery-powered, avoiding dust generation from the sliding contact line and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment. The tracks are pre-embedded, allowing manual access to the machine via pallet jacks or trolleys in case of machine malfunctions or emergencies. A heat-shrinkable cooling zone is provided, with strict control over first-in-first-out and cooling time to precisely manage the process flow for each product. The robotic arm is equipped with two sets of grippers, allowing simultaneous handling of two stator housings, improving cycle time. The vision system is mounted on the robotic arm body and can be shared by multiple workstations, offering better cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, the stator housing pallet has dedicated fixtures to control positioning accuracy to ±0.3mm, ensuring precise coordination between preceding and following processes.
