A natural gas company's tank area in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, is a high-risk location characterized by flammable and explosive materials. The area is densely packed with equipment and operates under complex conditions, making traditional manual inspections problematic due to three major drawbacks: inaccessibility, incomplete inspection, and inaccurate measurements. To comprehensively improve the station's inherent safety level, the station adopted an explosion-proof intelligent inspection robot. This robot enables comprehensive, blind-spot-free inspections of critical equipment such as tanks, compressors, valve assemblies, and pressure gauges, facilitating a shift from "human-based" to "intelligent" safety measures.
